Air sourced heat pump techology

How does heat pump work?

  1. Heat pumps convert low-grade heat (up to -20C) from outside to high-potential heat (+35/+50C) of the coolant using the vapor compression cycle.

  2. Key benefit of using heat pump is called COP - Coefficient of Performance - the ratio of useful heat energy produced to electrical energy consumption. Heat pump AVERAGE COP could be 3, that means you will get 3 kWh of heating for each kWh of electricity.

  3. They can work in reverse, cooling indoors when it's hot outside.

  4. Electricity is consumed by compressors, fans and pumps

  5. We are sourcing only heat pumps of our proprietary design.  They are durable and utilize propane as a refrigerant alternative (global warming potential index < 3).

Example

This is the first large heat pump operating under ambient air temperature below -15C, installed at an apartment building in Hungary. These 2 units (4 circuits) are the only source of heat for that building. It was first generation, with R410a refrigerant, scroll compressors and standard (not designed for rent conditions) cabinet, and assembled by Felzer —  company of which one of the founders was a shareholder.нажмите на текстовое поле и измените контент.
